The following information is designed to assist you calibrate your printer and set the correct exposure times for the range of FunToDo resins.
The general perception is that the object should be rock hard when it leaves the printer, this is a misconception.
To achieve the hardness, most users are over exposing and then get a light bleed effect.

The amount of exposure should be just enough to create a stable and consistent build, with the final cure achieved through exposing the print to UV (Daylight or a UV chamber).
Normally we suggest the following:
Curing times of 0.5 seconds for 0.02mm layers are easily achieved on standard DLP printers with an average light source of around 240 Watts (This may vary depending on the UV filter built in to your projector or the size and power rating on the LED UV panel).
The image below shows the same file printed using correct exposure times, all the corners and faces are crisp and smooth. The exposure time could be reduced slightly more to ascertain the minimum exposure time.
You will need to undertake a number of calibration tests as all printers use different light sources and the power levels can vary, this could be the contrast ratios, brightness of the lamps including the lamp life or LED panels.
If by that time you still have light bleed, you can add a bit of pigment.
If you create a 10mm cube or ring and find that the height is greater or less than the 10mm or the ring is oval in shape please check your Z height. It maybe that you are slicing the model at one layer thickness and printing at a different layer thickness. If these are both the same then you may need to refer to the instruction documentation supplied with your printer to check the calibration of the Z axis, or check the distantance between the lens and the bottom of the VAT and check this is set correctly within the software setup.
